Come Enjoy the Amenities at Our
Whitehorse Accommodation
Location
The ’98 Hotel is situated in the heart of downtown Whitehorse, which is the capital city of the Yukon, and the largest settlement in the three northern Canadian territories. Coincidentally, the Yukon split from the Northwest Territories in 1898. Whitehorse is known as the Wilderness City. It offers cultural and historic attractions that are showcased by the stunning natural beauty of the Yukon. A visitor travelling by foot from The ’98 Hotel can walk along the mighty Yukon River on the Millennium Trail (which is half a block from the Hotel) to an historic paddle wheeler, museums, restaurants, art galleries, theatres, dance clubs, shops and more. Also within walking distance are several adventure tour companies that will get you out on the river, out on horseback excursions, riding a snow mobile, mushing a dog team, viewing the northern lights (mainly between October and April), visiting the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, taking a dip in the Takhini Hot Pools and exploring Miles Canyon.
