The Dancer

Klondike Dancer Themed Room
in Downtown Whitehorse Hotel

Room 8, the Dancer, is a pet-friendly room with a queen-size bed. The maximum occupancy for this room is two, not including pets.

This is a bold, sassy room, painted in sumptuous red and cream, with white accents. A miniature chandelier hangs over a red, antique blanket box (perfect for storing your belongings), the bureau, and a brass lamp/clock combination adorns the vanity.

The artwork features dancers, and includes a large picture of well-known local dancer and choreographer, R. Reynolds. The paintings of the Can Can Girls are original artworks by Yukon artist, Bob Hayes.

The Dancer was fully refurbished in 2019, with new floors, paint, trim, window treatments, heaters, furniture and art.

All rooms at The ’98 Hotel are accessible. The access is ground floor, with no stairs in the lobby, guest hallway, guest rooms, shared guest washrooms or kitchenette. There is a step down into the washrooms in the Hotel Lounge (the bar).
